Bring on the Pixies!

Pixies are invading Riverside Festival this year in homage to US alternative rock band Pixies, popular with ‘cool kids’ in school for over 30 years. The Pixies dynamic loud-quiet offbeat style has been a major influence on British rock music, inspiring bands such as Blur, Nirvana and Radiohead and, of course, Riverside performers throughout the 24 years the festival has been going.

Magic Pixie dust will be sprinkled on stage and hopefully more than a few acts performing Pixies covers.

It would be great to see a few pixies throughout the festival site too with a pixie fancy dress theme. Other varieties of fairy folk including elves, goblins and brownies will, of course, be welcome.

Well lets keep turning that energy right up!! 3pm and it calls for....The Mighty Redox Band, Oxford, UK THE MIGHTY REDOX are the half punk/half hippy staples of Oxford music, playing upbeat psychedelic blues workouts of pure energy.
