Charlbury's Free Music Festival

Brought to you by

Just a few more days!

We’re just about ready, are you??

With less than a week to go before Riverside, all the plans are coming together. We’ve got an amazing line up of music with the db Band, featuring Mick Quinn of Supergrass fame, the outrageuos Original Rabbit Foot Spasm Band, Millionfaces, and Oxfords best hip hop boys, Death of HiFi.

Our second stage is now programmed by Rapture Records, Witney and Truck Store, Oxford. They’ve put together a fantastic line up including Empty White Circles, We Aeronauts, Flights of Helios and The Dreaming Spires. It’s looking set to be a super cool place to be!

And don’t forget to stop by and check out the Riverside Fringe Stage. Last year’s experimental Fringe was such a big success, so we decided to do it again, bigger and better. This year on the line up we have everything from song and dance acts to performance poets and you really must not miss the contortionist!! You can find the Fringe located roughly in the middle of the festival site.

Our friends from OxBox.tv will once again be hosting the Riverside Live Lounge, with exclusive performances, and interviews with the bands, all available to see online at the OxBox.tv and Riverside websites .

There’s lots to do for the children too, with story telling, craft activities, and both The Bushcraft Company and Physics in the Field running fun demos throughout the weekend.

So don’t miss it, make sure you’re there. We all look forward to seeing you for a brilliant weekend!

Justgiving

Tom Sharp ran around the festival site on July 21st for two hours to raise money to help out. He’s nearly reached his target, so please support him!

The latest

The evening is upon us but we haven't even got started yet! Next up on that very cool main stage is....The Deadbeat Apostles5-piece soul, blues, rock and roll outfit “infused with a punk spirit that doesn’t trample too hard on the soulful rock’n’roll that is their stock-in-trade”. Angry, political, dressed up to the nines and having a ball. Their songs are a rallying cry for the oppressed and soulful calls for action whilst reminding you why music is your first love.
