There are plenty of activities going on for your Riverside Rascals this year, so they can enjoy the music and fun as much as you. Let them get creative with clay, glue, stickers and colours. We also have workshops running on the hour every hour, so get comfy on hay bales and unleash your child’s musical magic with Saltbox, Mr Myles Music and African drumming.
Charlbury’s newest community interest company Little Wild Things want to see if they can make 100 things with a stick in the weekend. Let your children use their imagination – make a wand, a sword, a walking stick or puppet. Also you can let your children build and explore the wicker maze; play in the hobbit den and, follow the nature trail to learn about the birds and the trees.
This year we are introducing a safe place for babies and mums to chat with the Chipping Norton midwifes – come knit, natter and yarn swap.
Refreshments and home-made entertainment will be available at the ‘Punch and Juicy’ bar serving up amazing, delicious and scrumptious juice cocktails. Or, you might prefer tea and cake at the pre-school tea tent. Plus, for a lucky few (if you come early), we have some limited places at the children’s high table for fine dining. Please do come early to make your own animal placemat and hat.
