Updated for 2024
Riverside Festival is run entirely by an amazing band of local volunteers, who help to make everything run smoothly. Local groups and organisations like the Charlbury Beer Festival and Charlbury Primary School help with the loan of equipment, Charlbury Pre-School run the tea and cake tent, and our local recycling group ensures that 99% of the waste generated at Riverside doesn’t go to landfill. West Oxfordshire District Council has given Riverside Festival an Inclusive Award in recognition of its work to ensure the festival is open and welcoming to people of all abilities whether they be volunteers working at the festival, performers or, most importantly, the audience.
We want YOU!:
If you’ve not been involved in Charlbury’s Riverside Festival before, be part of it this year. Not only is it good fun, but it’s also a great way to meet like-minded people. If you would like to help, even if it’s just for an hour or two, please email volunteer@riversidefestival.charlbury.com
Stewarding with Wicked Events:
Or perhaps you would like to get involved in stewarding at Riverside. We work with Wicked Events who provide officially recognised stewarding for Riverside, and many other Festivals around the country.
If you enjoy it, maybe you could sign up for some of their other events too!
